Earlier this year I travelled to Milan for a quick three-day city break with one of my close friends. I love Italy but had never experienced Milan before. Luckily my lovely amica Veronica is from Milan and was at home during the same period so we had the advantage of touring the city from a local’s perspective.
We ate sushi at Bomaki, pizza at Gino Sorbillo and lots of delicious Italian pastries washed down with an affogato. Visiting the Duomo was definitely a highlight, alongside the amazing shopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.
I brought along my film camera and was pleasantly surprised by how well the majority of shots came out. I am still learning about film photography and the process of obtaining a clear, crisp shot. I don’t always succeed at that, but that’s all part of the beauty of film, right?
This Monki faux shearling coat kept me super cosy. It adds some texture and extra interest to an otherwise plain outfit.
These are just a few of my favourite photos from my time in Milan. I also vlogged the trip so check that out if you’re interested in seeing what we got up to in more depth.
